Our Worship Service at King's Way Church
There's nothing quite like waking up in the morning and realizing that you are a real part of a Biblically functioning, relevant local church. Exciting churches are rare, but God's a pretty exciting God, and when He's leading and guiding a local church, you can be sure that it will be exciting as well.

It's Biblical
The reason it's exciting is because it is Biblical. It's not a quick fix, but it's the key to becoming a long-haul lover of Jesus Christ. God Himself designed the local church to do just that. The book of Ephesians tells us how.

This book is full of answers, but not easy ones. There are no formulas here; just trust. The entire book just overflows with excitement and hope in God and His eternal purposes. The Old Testament Saints ran a hard race, but they ran for God and they ran toward a future hope. They ran toward the day when the manifold wisdom of God would be known. Christ has come, and the Father has put all things under His feet and given Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. Paul wrote this real truth to a real local church, made up of real people with real problems and real questions. If we are not as real as those to whom the letter was written, then we shall not understand the fullness of the wisdom it contains. We are not to have our understanding darkened as in times past, but we are to recognize our place in God's purposes and run the race He has set before us. If we are to mature as Christians, then we must enter the classroom of the Lord. He has plainly told us that we will not realize our potential as Christians apart from real involvement in a real church. We are to grow up in all things into Him who is the head - Christ. It is this involvement, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, that causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love. We can not ignore this truth and still expect to see the real spiritual growth in our lives that Jesus desires for us. We can't do this alone. If one falls, then who will pick him up, or if he lies down alone, then how shall he keep warm? Alone, another shall overpower us, yet two can withstand him. We're in this together.

The Possibilities are Endless
We've seen God do some amazing things through this church, and we're excited about what the future might hold. We're learning how to trust Him more, and we've been pleasantly surprised by the number of our friends who have decided to start trusting Him for the first time.

It seems like more and more people are starting to realize the Biblical importance of the local church. However, you can only learn so much from a book, television, what other people say, or a web page for that matter. At some point you're going to have to see for yourself and experience it. There's nothing else on earth quite like a vibrant, functioning local church. We hope to see you this week!
